ANTICIPATED QUESTIONS

WHAT'S THE VIBE?

Fall spices, bold florals and jewel tones with a tulle mini dress on our bride! This will feel like a styled shoot BUT with a real couple, at a real wedding venue and a planner with over 15 years experience! The outdoor area will provide a background with open space, colorful foliage and a lake as well as furniture provided by Borrow!

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?

The cost of this one day workshop is $750 with 50% due at sign up (option to pay in full) and the remaining balance to be paid one week prior. The seat is non-refundable but is transferable if for any reason you cannot attend, someone else can in your place :)

HOW MANY ATTENDEES WILL THERE BE?

We are opening this workshop up to 10 photographers at the most - based on personal experience, any more than this could be overwhelming to other attendees!

WHO'S ON THE VENDOR TEAM?

Kayla Coleman will be teaching with assistance from Allison Cross, our planner, who has a phenomenal wealth of knowledge and so many amazing connections in the community. Allison has arranged for our use of Sun Valley (our venue) stunning stationary, beautiful florals, and rentals from Borrow and a dress from The Wild Love Collective - to name a few of the exciting things to come!

Kayla is also married a handsome chef who will be supplying us with a few snacks to hold us over between sessions :)

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Hopefully this one goes without saying, but please bring your camera- this is a great opportunity to rent that gear that you would like to try out or bring that dusty old film camera that you want to use more often (also fun opportunity to try new things like prisms!)

Feel FREE to bring along your laptop or something to write on/with to take notes as well as anything else you typically would on a wedding day!

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Not to fret - Like any wedding day, the show must go on! We will get creative and shoot the same way we would if we were to show up to a wedding day affected by the unpredictability of Cleveland weather :) Honestly a great teachable moment!

WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER PHOTOGRAPHED A WEDDING?

GOOD!! I WISH that I had this kind of workshop when I was getting started in the industry - especially with a planner on hand to ask questions that might feel silly in the moment on a wedding day! It is a phenomenal opportunity to practice alongside people who have experience and a willingness to help you decide if this is for you (while taking beautiful photos!)
